Cherish | Chicago Beverly Newborn Photographer

Meet Cherish, who came to see me on her 12th day of life! I recently received a box full of goodies from the sweetest vendor Michelle, from The Bookworm Crochet and The Knitting Bitty with loads of outfits, that needed to be modeled! I only have boys on the books so I did a casting call for a beautiful baby girl, and stunning Cherish was the chosen sweetie! And boy did she fit the bill!! Cherish was an absolute sweetheart and did not make a single peep, I wanted to keep her!! She had a head full of thick beautiful hair, and the prettiest, most delicate features. And was oh-so tiny, still only 5 pounds… She shares the same birthday as my daughter, so I knew she was special from the first time I got the inquiry from her mom 😉

Campbell | Chicago Illinois Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Campbell. Campbell came to see me on his 8th day of life, and was oh so cute!!! I love getting to meet my new clients, because even so young, they each already have their own personalities, some don’t like for their feet to be touched, some dislike me touching their hands etc.. Well Campbell didn’t like me to put anything on his head 🙂 He was so funny! But once he fell into his deep sleep, he was a DREAM! He defined what a sleepy newborn is. There was absolutely no waking him, and he was so squishy and flexible!! He literally fell into each pose naturally. What a cuddle bug he was!! His mom’s favorite time of the year is Fall, so knowing this, I absolutely had to include the Autumn theme in their session, she also had a birth announcement idea that she wanted me to recreate for her, and I was happy to oblige 🙂 I truly enjoyed working with this beautiful family…

Joshua | Chicago Illinois Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Joshua! He was the FIRST boy that I had all summer! How funny is that?! An entire summer of nothing but girls in the studio!! Joshua came to see me a little later than the usual age I take newborns, he was 5 weeks old. At this age, it is really hit or miss, as the older babies get, the more alert they are, they start gaining more weight etc…. It becomes harder and sometimes no longer possible to pose them. But let me tell you! Joshua did SO good! Once he was fully fed, he was out like a light, and let me get pose after pose, I was very very proud of him 🙂 And his sibling shots just melted my heart, his big brother Jason was just 4 years old, and did SO good!! He was extremely over-protective over his little brother, who he called “True Love”, you can already tell that they will be best buddies for life! The bond between them was simply adorable…

Ruby | Skokie IL Newborn Photographer

Meet beautiful Ruby Claire. Ruby came to see me on her 10th day of life, and she was amazing, so sweet and peaceful from beginning to end. I first met Ruby’s parents 2 years ago, when I photographed her big sister! And I was having flashbacks during this session, Ruby looked JUST like her big sis’, it was insane!!! Gabriella | Skokie IL Newborn Photographer

Meet beautiful Gabriella! This little sweet pea came to see me at 3 weeks of age, and me tell you, I think I saw Gabriella’s eyes maybe once, and that was at the end of the session! She was a DREAM!! She had the most relaxed unclenched fingers, she was definitely a natural 🙂 And she had the cutest birth mark on her right cheek!! I wanted to keep her!!! Her parents also brought Gabriella’s big sister Olivia, and she was THE cutest ever! She talked from the moment she got to the studio, until the moment they left LOL! And did I mention she was only two years old?? I couldn’t believe it! She did SO good, waited thru her sister’s session until it was her turn, and she still had a smile on her face. What a fun and gorgeous family they have…
