Logan | Chicago Professional Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Logan, who came to see me last week, at only 6 days earth side. Oh my word, I have to say, he is one the prettiest babies I have had in the studio! Weighing in at 9 pounds, he had a head full of thick black hair, and was just SO squishy and adorable. I can go on and on and find all of the synonyms for cute when I talk about it him, but I think I am going to leave it here and let his pictures speak for themselves. And not only was he a cutie, but he didn’t wake up not once during his session. I only got to see his eyes for maybe 10 minutes total. Logan was an absolute dream to work with. I really wanted to keep him, like for real 🙂

Darria | Yorkville IL Newborn Photographer

Meet one of the yummiest babies to come thru my studio, beautiful Darria, who visited me on her 9th day of life! This baby girl had cheeks.for.days!! I bet her parents just nibble on them all day long LOL! Darria was the absolute sweetest baby ever too! She did wake up once for a feeding, but only because her tummy was talking to her, but honestly, she didn’t even open her eyes (SO cute!) and once she was full, she drifted off into an even deeper sleep. I really wanted to keep her, she was just too cute!! She let me get thru all of the setups and props in record time, and without fussing one bit, she allowed me to try new poses and setups and let my creativity flow, she was my muse 🙂 from the bunny hat to represent her very first Easter to the dreamcatcher, she was pure perfection. She was a rockstar baby, and the apple of her parents eye. I absolutely see why. What a joy and blessing Darria is, I loved working with her so much!

Cherish | Chicago Beverly Newborn Photographer

Meet Cherish, who came to see me on her 12th day of life! I recently received a box full of goodies from the sweetest vendor Michelle, from The Bookworm Crochet and The Knitting Bitty with loads of outfits, that needed to be modeled! I only have boys on the books so I did a casting call for a beautiful baby girl, and stunning Cherish was the chosen sweetie! And boy did she fit the bill!! Cherish was an absolute sweetheart and did not make a single peep, I wanted to keep her!! She had a head full of thick beautiful hair, and the prettiest, most delicate features. And was oh-so tiny, still only 5 pounds… She shares the same birthday as my daughter, so I knew she was special from the first time I got the inquiry from her mom 😉

Waiting for their little surprise | Chicago Illinois Maternity Photographer

I am always very proud to share my clients galleries, and this one is no different, maybe even a little more so! This beautiful mommy-to be and her husband are expecting their first baby, and don’t know what they are having yet; how exciting! She had THE cutest baby bump ever!! My client had a specific vision for her session; to her, flowers exemplify the purity of femininity so I knew I had to include some for her, she also knew she wanted earthy and warm photos, as well as a sense of simplicity and tranquility. I took all of those adjectives she gave me to describe her vision to prepare for her photo shoot, and it seemed as if everything just fell into place effortlessly! They were the nicest couple and such a joy to work with; I can’t wait to meet their new bundle of joy when he (or she) arrives!

Bria | Professional Athlete Chicago Newborn Photographer

Meet beautiful Bria! Her daddy is Darryl Sharpton, professional linebacker for the Chicago Bears! Bria came to see me on her 8th day of life, and she was so cute I couldn’t take it!!! We started off with a feeding, and once her belly was full, she slept the entire time without making a single peep! She gave me so much variety of poses!! I honestly love every single image from her gallery, and it is so hard not to share them all!! Bria’s mommy wanted a very classic and organic session, but more than anything, she wanted a few pictures showcasing how tiny baby Bria is in her daddy’s hands, and I was happy to oblige! Bria’s pictures with her father came out so beautifully, and I am very happy I got to capture this for them.
