Dia | Oak Lawn IL Newborn Photographer

Meet beautiful Dia, that came to see me for her newborn session! Most times, I get the newborn sessions done the very first time, but every now and then, it happens when for a reason or another, my newborn clients have a “false start” and we have to reschedule the session to another day. Out of my 7 year career, this has happened 5 times. Dia was one of of them and the second time I saw her, as with all of my reschedules, the session went SO well. She was as sleepy as she could be and was absolutely perfect. Her mom, who is the owner of Nicole Marie Salon, had the vision for the photo below since she found out that she was having a girl, and this photo ended up being one of my most talked about photo! People are obsessed with how cute Dia looks in it! I have to agree 😉 This was a difficult pose to create and she let me pose her without making a peep! She knew how much her mama wanted it, I say! I am so happy with how the session came together in the end, and Dia’s mom now has the photos she dreamed of so of her beautiful baby girl, and that’s all that counts! Mission accomplished 🙂 Congratulations to this amazing family of 4!

Ade | Chicago IL Best Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Ade (name is pronounced “ah-day”) who came to see me on his 10th day Earth side. What. a. sweetheart! When his parents gave him to me I could already see how sleepy he was, and as soon as I started posing him, he gave me the biggest smile that you see right here! I had so many frames to choose from, it was if he wanted to make sure I got it 🙂 after that we moved on so smoothly, he was just so perfect! He was the best model and was so good to me. As I was posing him I would talk to him and thank him for being so sweet to me and would call him “snuggle bug” because he would curl right in my arms when I would hold him. At the end of the session we were able to get some shots with Ade’s parents, and his big brother, who is only 16 months older than him. He did a really good job too, I was extremely proud of him. And he was a handsome lil guy too, with his blue eyes and red hair!! Congratulations to this beautiful family!

Ade’s parents brought in most of his props (including the gorgeous leather teddy bear by Coach), but the lace items used in his session are by the only prop knitter I trust, The Knitting Bitty. All items are perfection and the exact size to fit any newborn!

Orion | Chicago Bucktown Newborn Photographer

Handsome Orion came to see me on his 9th day earthside and was pure perfection. Weighing almost at 9 pounds, he was a chunky little love bug and I seriously could have posed him all day!! He had cheeks and rolls for days! What I love most about my sessions is when my clients come with personal items that give each session that personal touch and makes every single session unique, like no other. Well Orion’s parents were perfect for that! They brought in boxes of goodies and let me pick and choose what I thought would work for the session and that’s what I did! Orion’s mommy is French so I knew right off the bat that I *absolutely* wanted to add some french references, and his dad is really big on US history and the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights etc.. so again these were a MUST to include. And Orion was such a sweetie, he gave me smiles every time I added his parents things to be photographed with him!

Meet little miss Autumn, who came to see me on her 10th day of life! Autumn was such a sweetheart, however she must have thought that sleep was overrated so she decided to hang out with me most of the session, watching my ever move and giving me the most amazing eye contact ever! I am always amazed at how the teeniest of babies can be so mature so young. We did start off with her sleeping, but after she was pretty much awake most of the shoot. She was a teeny tiny little something too, and oh so cute…

Marion Jr | Top Newborn Photographer in Chicago IL

Meet handsome Marion Jr, who came to see me on his 9th day earth side. Marion was such an adorable sweetie and slept soundly for the entire session, he did “try” to wake up a little at the end for the session for the family shots, but he was just too sleepy LOL. Marion had the most beautiful head of dark hair, with the cutest little curl in the front, and because his mommy is Colombian, he was wearing a little beaded bracelet to protect him from the “Mal de Ojo” which means “evil eye” (you can see the full description in provided link). They also wanted a sports theme for his session and it all came together so perfectly! This little angel is SO loved by his parents. This was an absolute hit session.
