Lionel | Chicago Beverly Newborn Photographer

Meet 12 day old Lionel. What a handsome little dude! He is his the apple of his mommy’s eye, and her blessing from the sky. I first met his beautiful mommy when I did her maternity session  few weeks back (shown here), and she didn’t know the gender and wanted to be surprised. For Lionel’s session, she wanted me to do different shades of blues, and she also loved the moon prop and had brought a very special picture of her mom, who gained her angel wings way too soon, so that she can be included in the session, and take a picture with her grandson. I made sure to have everything ready for his session, and have all of his mommy’s requests included. This was such a special session, and I am so grateful everyday that I get to do this as my job, and create unforgettable happy memories for my clients…

Expecting | Maternity Photographer in Chicago IL

Oh gosh, when I say that I have the most beautiful clients, I really do! This stunning mommy-to-be told me that she found me after seeing my TV interview that aired back in February of this year for the segment “Someone you should know” on CBS 2 Chicago , and I am so happy that she did! As soon as she walked into the studio that day, I knew that we would get along and that the session would go great; she had a smile and energy that lit up the entire space! In a few weeks I will get to meet and photograph her handsome little fella that is growing peacefully in her belly, and I simply cannot wait!

Pilar | Newborn Photographer Chicago IL

Meet 10 day old Pilar! Oh my goodness, she was so gorgeous, all ELEVEN pounds of her! Yes, she was the definition of a chunky baby 🙂 She was so squishy and full of baby rolls… Looking like a real life doll baby! I wanted to keep her, I really did! Pilar did amazingly well, and was such a sweetheart! She only woke up once to eat, then drifted back off to dreamland as soon as she was done, and let me get pose after pose without making a peep. I first met her parents a few months back when I did their maternity session shown here. They were a gorgeous couple themselves, so I already knew that their little bundle would be too! They didn’t know the gender and waited to be surprised, so when they knew she was a girl, her mommy told me to pink it up, and that’s what I did! This color looks so good on her too! Pilar was a pure joy to have in the studio, and I want to take the time to thank her parents for choosing me as their photographer to capture their journey into parenthood!

Love | Chicago Maternity Photographer

I love maternity sessions. First, because obviously I get to create memories for my clients of their pregnancy, something that they can never get back, but also because they allow my clients and I to meet prior to the newborn session, and this puts them directly at ease when they come back to me with their baby, and the newborn sessions are always perfect. In a few weeks I will get to meet and photograph this beautiful mommy-to-be’s new baby boy, and I can’t wait! This couple was so nice and sweet, and their love for one another was visible and palpable. What a lucky baby, this baby will be!

Pregnancy as art | Chicago IL Maternity Photographer

Let me start by saying that I have the most gorgeous clients! I always ask my clients what their vision is for their session, and this particular client wanted me to concentrate mostly on her baby bump, and she told me that she was getting henna designed on her belly for the session; I’ve never photographed a client with henna paintings before so I was excited to see what it looked like, and wow was I blown away! I thought it looked so, so pretty! I will soon get to meet her little princess and get to photograph her, I’m sure she will be as pretty as her mommy!! I really do have the best job in the world!
